Last
year’s 2nd runner-up, Dominique Lee of Westerly, came
back to capture the title of Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2005, beating
out 83 other contestants. The crowning of this year’s winner
took place at the Nazarian Center for Performing Arts at Rhode
Island College in Providence on October 10, 2004.
Dominique
is a 17-year-old senior attending Westerly High School. She is
the
daughter of Beate & Samuel Lee, and has a younger brother, Sammy. Dominique
is a top runner for her school’s cross-country and track team. She enjoys
extra-curricular activities such as powderpuff football and has participated
in pep club in previous years. Dominique is also a former member of a local
dance company program. She includes honor and advanced placement classes in
her schedule
as well.
After
high school, Dominique plans on moving on to college, hoping
to run on a university cross-country and track team. She will
then move on
to law school
and pursue a career as a corporate lawyer. Some of Dominique’s other
hobbies including watching stand-up comedy, reading, and of course, eating
chocolate.
Dominique
is excited to be representing the state of Rhode Island in the
Miss Teen USA Pageant Live on NBC television in August 2005.
