About Kristina...

On September 13, 2009, Kristina Primavera was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2010. Kristina, 22, of Narragansett, Rhode Island is the daughter of Victor and Becky Primavera and older sister of Samantha and Alexandra.

Kristina is a 2004 graduate of The Lincoln School in Providence, Rhode Island. At the age of 17 she went to New York to attend Fordham University. Kristina graduated in 2008, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a specialization in International Business.

In the spring of 2007, Kristina pursued her passion for travel by studying abroad in Florence, Italy. While living in Florence, Kristina took advantage of her surroundings. She spent the semester traveling throughout Europe; taking trips to view the architectural work of Gaudi in Barcelona; eating weisswurst at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich; skiing the Central Eastern Alps of Innsbruck; observing the artwork of Van Gogh in Amsterdam; and exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, among other adventures.

In 2008, Kristina was presented with the unique opportunity to participate in a study tour to India. Her love for travel combined with her interest in international affairs made this an offer she could not refuse! This trip afforded Kristina the amazing experience of discovering the history and culture of India while touring seven of the country’s northern cities. The highlights of her trip were riding on the back of an elephant and dancing on the steps of the Taj Mahal.

Kristina is currently working as an Assistant Coordinator of Product Development for Danecraft, Inc., a jewelry company based in Providence. She describes herself as a determined individual, always striving to exceed expectations. Kristina is thrilled to continue her journey on the road to international businesswoman, philanthropist, and world traveler. Next stop: LAS VEGAS!
