Rochelle Rose was crowned the new Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2007 on September 24, 2006 at Sapinsley Hall at Rhode Island College. Rochelle is 17 years old and is currently a senior at North Kingstown High School.

Rochelle is a very active young lady; participating on her high school's Division One Swimming Team and the Girls Division One Lacrosse Team. She is currently on the North Kingstown High School Principle Honor Roll and enjoys all of her studies. She joined the school's Executive Board, which helps the senior class plan school events and save money for later opportunities that may come across the graduating class. Even though Rochelle has such a busy schedule, she still makes time for her part-time job, her friends and, of course, her loving and supporting family.

She is currently getting very excited for her acceptance to six of the colleges that she applied to. She is interested in psychology and forensic science. Her goal is to become a successful FBI agent and have a wonderful family.

Rochelle's family is very supportive of her and has been there for her since day one. Her entire family and 5 of her best friends were at the state pageant rooting her on. They are all very proud of her and can't wait to see her on national television at the Miss Teen USA pageant this summer.
